Most Dumerils are born during the May-July, that would put breeding season somewhere around Nov-Feb... I'm just winging those months. I have an old manual put out by Stanford that gives average months for breeding based on their records, so I will have to check with that to be sure. My Dumerils only go off feed during the cool down periods which coinside with my breeding seasons(Oct-Feb). Even though off season breedings are know to take place, I would look into another cause for the feeding downtime. It is still amply warm across the US to provide "feeding temperatures". How long has he been off feed?

About 3-4 weeks. He's done this before and all was well.
He eats when he feels like it, which isn't always very
frequently.
As I'm sure you know, Dumerils have a much slower metabolism than South American boas. Feedings every 2 weeks are ideal for a young adolescent male.
