Hey all:

I am rather new to the whole "field herping" deal and while I have learned a great deal from some great people, I am still dying to find a timber rattler, massasauga, and even a copperhead. They take some awesome pictures but in my state that aren't as common (well coppers should be rather common down south, but I have yet to come across one). I would really love to take some pictures of the above species before the end of this summer, so I am wondering if anyone could give me a good idea of what their prime habitat would look like? A picture or two would be great as well. I know that massasauga's are more up north here in Ohio and Timbers/Coppers are further south. I am just not quite sure where the best places to search are. EVERYWHERE looks good to me when I am out, but I realize that it's a longshot.

Any Ideas or suggestions??

I would appreciate all help

Chris
