In your own expierences is it better to build your own or buy a nice fancy one, I know that alot of lizard breeders build, as do I but I was fairly curious about snakes balls, I have a few hets that I want to breed

Local supermarkets get large styrofoam boxes in ea. week or month. They measure 3 -4' x 2'. Why wait till they discard. Negotiate with the man to hold it for you. They work really great with a UTH under the cover or a Hovabator cover "cut" into the original top.

I have had good luck with building them... I guess it depends on how many clutches you are expecting and how much you want to put into it. Here are some pictures of one I built last year.

I'll be building an Igloo cooler incubator in the next few weeks. This is much like the Avey Reptile100 Incubaltor. Here are some good plans...

Build one. That way you can have it exactly how you want it. There are factors that you can control such as(heat usage ...insulation...size) when you build your own. I built my own and I probably will build another one just on a larger scale. Good luck!
