lights on 24/7
high humidity(at least 70%)
lots of wood to hid in and bask on- basically a nice pile
130-ISH basking
75-80 ISH ambient
vertical climbing room
lots of FOOD and fresh water
substrate... up to you (dirt, sand, coco and peat, etc)
guess that covers it

Nice picture. Does the monitor have it's own phone? I noticed the phone jack behind the monitor. LOL

I must have way too much time on my hands since I see a monitor and notice a phone jack

Old papertowel rolls with one end stopped up have worked for hides for the ones I had. I put them in diffent spots on the cage. That made mine Papertowelosaurus.

Sorry for the corny post, it is way to early this AM

wow thank you , that helped a bunch!!!! cuz i think people are going crazy, on e guy is all oh you only need like 20 percent humidity and someone else is all well its not any diferent from a tree monitors, like emearld and stuff, wow

Wow, I like MY environment with alot more then 20% humidity. That could cause some serious problems in even a "desert" species.

Between the two, the prasinus husbandry would have been a good way to go. Im sure a timor would be content in a vertically oriented enclosure. Actually, im in the process of changing over from horizontal to vertical cage set ups to see how they like it. The big male in the pic above seems to enjoy climbing quite a bit. I had a stump in there before, and he would always be on top of it, or hanging off the side. I think we would enjoy being able to climb higher. Plus, I thing the aerobic work out would be good for the ole man. Hahahaha

yea i flipped a lid when that guy told me 20 percent, i have my babie timor in a vertical oriented enclosure and he seems to absolutley love it, climbs around all day and then goes behind his favorite baskin rock at night and curls up in a little hole he made in the substrate, i think im going to build him a hella nicce vertical enclousure once he gets about 15 inches, or soo,
