Silkworm keeping?

Tandrag Aug 09, 2005 10:58 AM

I am looking to order a large amount of silkies to feed to my guys here instead of the old crickets.. So if I order a bunch how do I keep them? In the fridge? Or whats the deal... Thanks

I'm not sure if it helps you, but I have a large tupperware with the bottom cut off, and siliconed a screen in it's place, and then I place a mesh screen overtop. i place the container on top of the tupperware lid, and it keeps them well-ventilated and clean, as their waste falls out. they're pretty senstive to humidity and filth, if one dies, remove it immediatly.
