My new leos..

kittikity Jul 16, 2003 09:51 PM

Just wanted to post a pic of my new blizzard leopard geckos.. Show off I guess.. Their names are Squirt and Frosty.. Squirt is named that because he peed on me the first time I held him.. I use the term "he" generally since they're only about 4 months old.. For now they live together.. In the future I will be seperating them unless they both turn out to be females.. Anyway, here they are.. Squirt is on the left and Frosty is on the right..

4 months old is usually sexable, so you should be able to know. he "pee'd" on you? just a urate, no stool?

It wasn't urate like you'd see with the feces.. It was liquid pee and it was a stream.. Almost like he was squirting it at me.. Hence the name.. My point about the sexing is this is the first time I've had leos so I'm sure my sexing skills are much for want.. The guy at the reptile store also said they were "around" 3 or 4 months.. Here's a pic of them from underneath.. Maybe you more experienced people would have a better idea..

I believe that's Squirt on the right.. He has a slightly thicker tail..

i think the one on the right, squirt, could be a male, its hard to tell, use a magnifying glass to look for pores. i don't think that leopard geckos ever have liguid urine, i've never seen it. you may wanna ask someone about it.
