Newest pis of Nefertiti

Physignathus Aug 09, 2005 03:15 PM

Well I finally got some new pics of my girl. She is doing just great! She is now over 5 feet and weighs about 7-8 pounds and will be 14 months on the 11th. Her attitude and disposition is fine. Haven't had a bite in over 4 months now. She's a eating machine and can consume a large rat in under 4 minutes, that's from just starting on the head to all the way to her stomach Later this yr she gets her new home. Which brings me to this. Ben, you got an 8' cage(actually 2). First, who did you get yours from? And second, What all features did you get for yours? I'm asking because this is what I'm looking into of purchasing for Nefertiti. Anyway, here's the pics. Enjoy!!!

Hey, sorry I missed your post! Beautiful Yellow, always love to see them. Anyways, I bought my cages from www.monster-cages.com, very easy to assemble, takes about 1-2 hours per cage, all you need is a screw driver really. They each have support beams in the top of them, a heat light on the left and a florescent on the right. My 6' cage is also from www.monster-cages.com and it's got V-Shaped support beams in the top of it, a florescent in the middle back, and it's heated with belly heat. Any questions, I'm happy to answer!

Ok, that's who I was looking at for a possible cage. Your's does not have a heat panel, any vent(s) for some air circulation, heat tape? I'm trying to figure out what the cage needs to accomodate her. When you put yours together did you seal the cracks to make it water tight so no water can leak out? I consider this a major investment for Nefi and I just want it to be something she can't destroy and is satisfactory in my mind(what little mind I have left,LOL). Thanks much Ben
