Box Turtle Diet

I'm watching my brother's Box Turtle while he is up in Montana. He told me everything I needed to know about it, but there is one question I have. Can a Box Turtle eat Green and Yellow Peppers? I haven't given it any, but I want to give it a more varied diet, if possible.
