The difference between a Coastal and Queensland Carpet

I have heard they are the same? Others said they are different? If different how so?

There is no difference other than locality, which most people do not have proof of. Queensland has populations of Coastals, Inlands, as well as Jungles. All Jungles originated from the NE part of Queensland, and most, if not all Coastals also originated there. That is why people call them Queensland. Odds are that almost all Coastals and every jungle was collected and exported from Queensland. Look up a range map of carpets in in Aussie, or grab a copy of the Barker's book POTW: Vol. 1, Australia and you will see what I am refering to.
