Hes always sumerged and doesnt move around much from what i can tell. I this normal?

very normal. they wont come out of the water unless somethings wrong. you can get more information on them at turtleman.com. by the way, very nice looking ally snapper hatchling

My snapper was actually an adoption, not really a planned pet per say.

Thats interesting that gold fish are toxic, if fed often. I had no idea. Good thing hes only had about 10 of em.
