How many eggs?

NextRev37 Aug 10, 2005 01:43 AM

Does anyone know how many eggs a female will lay in one clutch? My female only layed 4 and I was wondering if this is a normal number? Thanks!

Yeah, always different 3 - 7 seems to be about average in my opinion. One of my girls layed 10 this season nine hatched, so that was more than my other girls have layed.

Congratulations on the eggs! keep us updated

Okay good cause I read somewhere that collard lizards lay 20 eggs...but obviously everything you read on the internet isn't true haha. She layed them on July 18th. I wasn't expecting the eggs actually so it was a surprise thing. They are in a homemade incubator in my room at a temp of 80-83. I read that even if the eggs look a little funny that I should just keep them in there. Two look pretty good but 2 look kinda deformed. I'm just going to wait and see. Is 40-60 days the right time for eggs to hatch?
