Lighting question...

wolfwoman Aug 10, 2005 12:40 PM

Hello,
We use a red lightbulb on top our cages at night to see our guys better when they're out roaming around. Is a red light OK? My husband seems to remember that snakes don't see red, but wants to doublecheck. They don't seem bothered by it.
TIA. : )

Tia

Red light is fine. Even if snakes can see it, it is not very bright and may even simulate dim moonlight.
