how many crickets a week does he/she eat? i have one about that size only about 1 to 1/2" bigger eating 70 a week and thought i'ld see if that was good. JK
I don't think he's up to that much, he just now started eating in his aquarium. Before that I was taking him outside and feeding him flies and grasshoppers. Today though he ate about 10 bugs, so if he ketp that up it would be about 70 a week.
Young chameleons do usually eat a lot. I've read that very young chameleons can eat up to 20% their body weight a day.
Hi-
Little ones will eat allot of food! Make sure you get him in an all screen cage at the age of 3 months. It is not a good idea to feed any chameleon and especially a baby chameleon wild bugs unless you live in the country where you can collect them in a pesticide free area. Great photo! Hope this helps!
