i have often had to help at least partially shed hatchlings. some will make the first shed over the first night, and if it at least starts by then, then i will help make the complete shed with a pair of needle-nosed pliers or tweezers. sometimes it's a lil tough, especially when it comes to removing skin from the toe pads. be gentle, yet firm. you might get nipped at a few times, but as long as you take your time they'll be fine.
