DeanBright Aug 10, 2005 03:11 PM

I know that collared lizards lay multiple clutches each year, how far apart are the clutches laid?

Thanks,
Morgan

well last year ivan laid two clutches back to back, laid some eggs and was gravid again like two weeks later. took part of may, june and july off and became gravid again at the beginning of august. this year she laid one clutch and that has been it.
gertie this year laid a clutch, waited a month, laid another took off may june and july and has recently become gravid again. it seems to me that my girls only lay eggs when their babies won't have to be born in really freaking hot weather
