thinking about getting a cooks tree boa.... any tips?

i know they say that most cooks arnt really Corallus cookii cuz there so rear. i was told it is a cook and i was looking into getting it. i dont know much about tree boas so im lookin for some info. ive done some research but was looking for some info from people who own and keep them. ive kept snakes for somet ime now but all are desert snakes. I live in the high desert of So Cal. I have rosies, kings, milks and stuff like that but have never tried anything arboreal.

Any tips? From what you said in your other posts it looks like you are use to very very docile snakes, that are very handle-able. This, In my experience is not the case with Cooks. Cooks are mean, And when i say mean, i mean just plan mean. For one, Chances are you are getting WC snakes. I own 3 cooks, and i can personally tell you, they are very un-nice animals. I get bitten on average 10-12 times when cleaning their enclosures. These snakes are very aggressive, and will not hesitate to bite. While i think arborial snakes are wonderfull, i really would not recomend these to someone unless they have a lot of patience, and bandaids.
