i plan on breeding kings in a couple years when my brooksi is bigger and i have some more experience with them, and i know i have a while to worry about everything but can anyone recomend somewhere to find out some information on genetics, crossing, not the method of breeding but the way you know what snake and another make that one, that kinda thing. just dont give me to advanced stuff im in 8th grade so life science at that point doesnt really cover it all.
thanks for everyones help and replies

I think I told you this once before.....
Go to Terry Dunham's website....It is Albino Tricolors dot com

There is a very informative genetics page that Terry has made....
It helped me out many times...and I still refer back to it from time to time...

You are welcome....It may have been the other kinglvr that I told the website to.....I dunno.....LOL
If you keep going over it you will eventually get the hang of it....I still go back and double check things or email people and ask questions......

Print out some pages that confuse you and take it to your science teacher and ask them for some clarification. Tell them what you do and don't understand and they will look at you on a whole new level. also since you into snkaes and genetics it would also make for some interesting reports for classes. Also find a male raise him up and breed them , i was worried about breeding kings too and i tried it this year and was easy. The hardest part was waiting for the eggs to hatch , and also saleing them ( cause i haven't tried kinda got attached to the little buggers). PAUL

yeah that helps a lot, i agree and all, the page was very helpful and the more i look at it the more i get it, so im getting there lol i got 2 years so im not in a rush. but j/w did you see the other post i made right before this one? any answer, i got a book and she never fit any of the symptoms of respatory diseases. i wont say any more the other post explains it all but i have kept close watch and she doesnt do it anymore and is very healthy i am so far loving her and her health lol.

God, I knew I shouldn't've gone with "Kinglvr". It's really confusing. Here I am, a 21 yr. old guy getting confused with an 8th grader lol! I'm just kiddin' "Kinglover", mad props to you for getting on here and learning about these animals.

kinglvr,

i always ask people to tell me if they get lost somewhere in my genetics explanations, so i can improve the site, make it clearer.

also if you don't understand something on the site email me and i'll try to explain it for you.

peace
terry
(and thanks, john, for the kind words of reference)
