veiled colors while sleeping

even when sleeping he has black blotches, is this of any significance?

Hi-

When chameleons sleep they usually are lighter in color to there normal colors. Hope this helps!

black blotches, if not the same on both sides, and if they are solid black, and not simply a bit darker, are usually burnes. if you have a pic, especially at night, we can tell...
