Pink Belly

OC-Balls Aug 10, 2005 05:22 PM

I know this has probably been asked a milion times, but the search function on this forum is kind of a pain. Besides I don't really think it's a bad idea to ask the same questions over and over again (there's always new people on this forum, that may have missed the question the last time it was asked).

Anyway:
I just noticed one of my BPs belly is pink.
(She is on dry newspaper)
I seem to remember reading that this is a sign she's going into shed.
Could it be anything else? I hope not!

Thanks
Ken

Yes, it just means she is shedding. No worries. And yes the search function here is blech! and they should update the forum software to something from this century. ;o)

Don't worry, I wasn't, lol. If it had been in a wet or overly humid enclosure, I would consider something else as a possibility but in a dry area, I don't think there is reason for alarm.
