geez my garters love goldfish...

between them, they will easily pound down 12 medium sized goldfish in one day, they are pigs!

All you have to do is rub a goldfish on a thawed out mouse and you will have garters that will eat mice. Do that a couple times and they won't have to be scented. Mice are very convenient, but it was always nice to mix in some fish sometimes too!

Are your garters housed together and do they eat together? If the answer is yes, you will have to seperate them when they reach different sizes. I've lost one to inadvertent cannibalism.

They always fought for the fish (one catches the fish, the other oportunistically tries to eat it as well), and once one snake got bigger than the other, it didn't care that the other snake was at the other end...
