what do you put around the top of your bins to prevent them from climbing out?

Bug boundary, vaseline, or food safe grease all work. I still cut out 80% of the lid and use boards on top and bottom to screw in a screen middle. This way I have no worries. Otherwise look into the many types of non-climbers (still recommend some kind of lid vented lid).
