Enjoyed the bio they did on you in Iguana -- International Reptile Conservation Foundaions quarterly publication. I note your parents made you part with iguanas during your youth. The same thing happened to me -- definitely fueled my adulthood fascination.

Thanks, I have not seen it yet. My wife even supplied some of the pictures( I dont know what). My parents made me give my iguanas to the zoo, back when they would take them. They thought they had gotten too big for me. This was back when you were told to feed them lettuce and raw hmburger, and meal worms!

When I was 10 my brother got me a 5ft. female green and we managed to keep her alive on tomatos, lettuce, bananas and meal worms for almost 2 years until the parents made me give it up. We gave her to a guy who had a large males and a big outdoor heated cage. She layed eggs, but they never hatched.

It was then that I vowed to have an iguana when I grew up. Got the iguanas, but still working on growning-up.
