Whats that little guy called.... i know northern something....Anyways they are nasty little guys... got a bit of a tempermate problem, i see them in the pond i live on all the time.. always catch them and what not and they always manage to keep on trying to get a tag in. Believe it or not those guys get pretty big, me and my two friends were on my canoe in this cove looking for them (good spot) and i spot one.. immediatly i jump off... lemme tell you... this is some nasty water... about 1.5 feet with some really gross muck on the pond floor and all that gross stuff that the snakes love... anyways i snatch him up by the tail he whips around throws a mean strike, gets my knee... nice little bloody bite and i get back on the boat with him... now as im hoping on my friend jumps out without saying a word... i have no clue what hes doing but he running through water as fast as he can and we all know its quite hard and he snatches one up too! so we get back on the boat... check them out and stuff... and we relized they were mates... one was small (his) the male... which was also very dark patternd... and mine... thick and alot longer... around 3.5 feet and alot lighter patternd so we figured thats the females terr. (cove) and the only other snakes that would dare go in there at the time would be the males trying to breed.... it was very neat cathing a *couple* haha
