leoman89 Aug 11, 2005 11:07 AM

is a cage that is 37x15x15 (LxWxH) too big for 1 adult crestie? and im guessing that it is too big for a baby but im just gonna ask anyway. is it too big for a baby?

it really depends on how closely you want to watch your gecko. and if you want to be able to monitor how much it's eating. i would say that it is HUGE for a baby crested, but then again i keep 4-5 babies in 1 ten gallon aquarium.
the only way i think i would use that would be to set it up vertically and have the 37" be the height.

well if i set it up verticaly then the screen top would be on the side i would be afraid of it falling off.

Maybe on its side, you could use one or two of those elastic tie-downs to hold it on securely. If you got 2 long ones, they might go all the way around. As far as too large, imagine how much area these guys would cover if they lived in their native rain forest. I think it's hard to give them TOO much room. On the other hand, as Flamed Crestie notes, it's harder to keep tabs on them in a huge enclosure, and for the babies you will want to keep track that they are eating alright.
