ever since I gave Darwin some super and wax worms he is refusing silkworms (and they grow too fast for them to just wait until he is interested again!). So, out of desperation I "dusted" them with Spirulina (a green/blue algae in powder form). It worked! He looked at it for awhile, but ended up eating 2 or 3. Not sure how long I can keep it up, but hopefully long enough to decrease my silkie supply!
Does anyone know about spirulina and beardies? I use it in my cricket chow (gutload) but wonder about him getting too much.

Actually today, while I wasn't looking he ate two - sort of like if he lets me know I won't give him the wax and super "treats" anymore! Glad he doesn't realize I can count! lol! I do hand feed him and he is simply being a fussy little boy ;-/
