Anyone use jungle earth from exo-terra with their phants? I went to the pet store today saw the bag and grabbed it. Thought it was jungle mix I was wrong and I didnt find out till I got home. I was thinking about mixing it with bed a beast which is already in the enclosure right now.

Coco fiber or long fiber peat is bad news! it won't help the plants grow, it will release too many tannins, it could very well get stuck in the throat. use plain dirt. use super soil brand if you can, but what ever you use, be sure it's just dirt, not cow manure or bat poo or the like. you can also use backyard dirt if you dig down 6" or so. this will help you get good dirt and not the stuff on top that is still "dirty".
you can then mix this with sand and leaf mould and so on but don't fall to those gimicks; eco-junk and so on!
