albino x albino question

win Aug 11, 2005 02:55 PM

i want to breed albino x albino ball python together but i heard that this is not suitable for boa constrictors bec this process can be very dangerous for the health of the offsrpings. i was thinking are ball pythons like this too? how about pie x pie?

breeding albino to albino will give you albino offspring. There is no danger in doing this, unless both snakes are siblings or very closely related and heavily inbred. For the most part, it isn't hard to get genetically unrelated ball pythons. Same thing with pied to pied crosses.
