It certainly could live outside, but not in a tank (tank would amplify the sun's rays too much). You'd have to make sure it is predator proof as well as escape proof and provide someplace it can get out of the elements. I'm sure someone here has build outdoor caging & can help you.

Daytime temps need to stay in the 80-90 range IN THE SHADE. Night time temps above 60. I also water mine 2-3 times a day. Care must be taken that they do not overheat!!!!

I'll take that one and that one and oh yeah that one too! I have NEVER seen such a large outdoor enclosure. Do they stay outside year round? They are beautiful! I love the color.
