Here's a pic of the wild caught "Butt-ugly" Eastern. He was very rough looking when first caught, but cleaned up very nicely since. He's even had a crusty eye, and that's healed all the way as well. His bands are quite thin for this area's Kings, usually I find them with wider bands than this one. . .

Remember the ugliest Eastern is still a thing of beauty. He probably has had a hard life.

You could be right Keith! He dang sure IS a fighter though! I should have taken a closeup of him the day I caught him! He had blisters all over his belly and his eye was crusted all over.
He's doing a 100% better now!
