nose wound

davidd Aug 11, 2005 05:58 PM

My python was a little eager during feeding the other day and struck the glass pretty hard causing a small wound on her nose. It will probably heal up fine, it's not a bad wound, but if I wanted to apply something to it would peroxide or neosporin help?
thanks

good, as it can cause some tissue damage. I would go with the neosporin, if you decide that you need something.

Peroxide is caustic, use neosporin or a small dab of providone iodine.
