kirkpatrick Aug 12, 2005 01:16 AM

I was told of a 'coral pueblan' which was produced by Don wilson, but can find no information on what exactly a coral pueblan is. (actually, I cant find any information on it at all!) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A coral Pueblan is just a color phase that didn't quit quilify as a apricot. Its kinda like a sunrise honduran. Its a intermediate between a normal and a orange?
We havn't used the term coral in the hobby for a long time cause it doesn't really fit.

Anyways,it was a good catchy name and probably sold him a few extra pairs just for the name but now we would just sell them as normals.

This is just my opinion and I know SOME people could care less and won't agree with ANY of my opinions but thats o.k.

i had some coral-orange (coral did fit the color of these) several years ago. They came from Ft. Worth Zoo stock, I think. The white was white on these without a hint of the orange color. I have gave them to a friend who let them escape and I haven't seen any since. Considering all of the Pueblans that are out there and how beautiful these were(to me at least), they must have been pretty rare. I sure wish I could find some now.
