Since this forum is the closest thing to "Ceylonese", here is a pic of one of our Ceylonese breeders

This ceylonese is a handpicked holdback from a long line of holdbacks and produces some of the finest ceylons around.

What is the average size for Ceylonese adults?

It is not unusual at all for female molurus from Sri Lanka to routinely reach 10 to 12 feet and this is probably the average range for adult females. If I remember correctly, the verified record is around 15 feet. Males are typically considerably smaller. I currently have several young adults with two 4 year old females presently at between 10 and 10.5 feet. Below is a photo of one of them I took last year. The "H" pattern on the dorsal surface, when found both anteriorly and posteriorly, is highly indicative of Sri Lanka molurus. I feel they are by far the most attractive of the molurus group.
