It is difficult to tell what is really going on by looking at this picture, it is way to blurry. From what i see (I am no expert)your snake fiirst has a lot of white urinal salt crystal deposits on its body. Slowly drying out the scales and eating away at them. ( i am referring to the white stuff all over its back).....now if you are concerned with the black spot in the middle, it could be dermatitis which is a bacterial infection of the skin. Now how high is your humidity in the tank? Or my second best guess it could be fungal infection (ring worm, parasitism usually makes the scales dark, eating away from the inside. My last conclusion would be a severe burn to the skin, that is if you have access for the snake to touch heated objects in your cage including the heat bulb. Whatever it really is, check for the following: make sure cage is not too moist, too dry, too dirty and make sure the ridents that you are feeding come from clean distributors as some mice can contain internal parasites dangerous to snakes. The pic is just to blurry to place an exact fact on its cause. hope it helps

I would suggest taking him to a vet and finding out. If it isn't anything that needs professional treatment it shouldn't cost much and you will have peace of mind. If it does require it then you can get it taken care of. Good luck!
