Some New Stuff.....

dhrsterling Aug 12, 2005 08:03 PM

We thought it was about time to show off some of our specials from this year. Our fingers are crossed most of these guys will prove out genetic.

First is a jaguar ball. I have seen a couple of these around but I don't know if any has proven genetic.

It is hard to say yet if these are Bubble Gums (super form) or Calicos. They have a lot more white than a couple of the captive bred lines. This pair is not related to each other and not related to any other lines.

The male is darker and the female is lighter.

This girl is really unque. She has a really light head, granite type freckling, a reduced side pattern, and a lot lighter than a normal ball.

And the best part is the belly.

These are two cool looking snakes.

The bangel is in shed.

Thanks for looking at the photos,

I do love reduced pattern/banded BP's, I have a bunch and I am hoping that at least one proves genetic. those would make some sweet albino's, pastels, etc.

good luck with these and all the others

Very nice!! Only confusing part of what your saying is the fact that from what I've been told the Bubblegums and Calicos have hatched out of the SAME clutches when a Calico is bred to a normal, if the Bubblegum is in fact a Co-dom wouldn't you need to breed a pair of Calicos together to get a Bubblegum and not just be bred to a normal (which is all that has been done so far from what I understand), to say a Bubblegum is the Super at this point seems to be a premature speculation to me! Great looking animals Skip and Dan. I had a chance to see them in person in Arlington and they are incredible. Can't wait to see what you do with them. See you guys in Daytona!
