It seems that when we were out to make money breeding "Higher end" stuff we were NEVER successful. However when we started keeping stuff we were passionate about, it all seem to fall into place. Keep stuff you like, and it really doesn't matter after that. If you are looking to make money, you might try investing in something else beside reptiles. I know very few people that actually make a living at breeding herps...I would say our collection pays for itself for the most part, but I won't be retiring anytime soon! LOL Moral of the story, if you think it's cool, theres got to be others out there that think the same! As far as the albino hog market...dunno, we just got our first 3 het females, and won't be producing albinos until 2007 at the very earliest. You've got to know that when the babies you purchase are old enough to breed the price will be lower in most cases. However I remember about 6 years ago the price on albino hogs was $1500, so only dropping 20% in that time is pretty good! Good luck on whichever project you choose!
