Two new tame hatchlings.

Jilazee Jul 17, 2003 05:35 AM

Wednesday morning I awoke checked my incubator and to my supprise found my very 1st hatchling she must have hatched no less than 3-4 hours before. Later that night her clutch mate hatched. Both are doing well and spend most of the night chasing micro crix around their enclosure.

The best part of all is both are as tame as my adult geckos, right outa the egg. After seeing how tame they were when I opened the incubator box I decided to try pick them up. I put my hand in the cage and both of them walked right onto my palm. After all I've read of hatchlings barking, running and the odd dropping of a tail I thought I'd share my experience with my two new hatchlings.

Also they started to eat within a few hours of being put into their enclosure. I also thought that this was alittle weird.

Hey, congratz mom. I can't wait to get to that day... but I have 2 very young females right now, and getting Naner to eat has been stressful enough.. so that will come sometime down the road =)
