Took a trip out to Whitewater last night to do a little hiking. Arrived at about 9:00pm and hiked around for two hours and found no reptiles. Then I did a few passes in my truck and still no snakes, toads were in abundance though. So I headed up the 62 and out towards Desert Hot Springs when I found this male rosy coming out of a rock pile and on to the road, it was 12:00am when I found him.
Hey Med Man, i just posted a reply to rootsrok about not finding boas and you hit another Johnson Valley Special. My gut feeling told me to go ther the other night. Great job on all your finds also. This guy was actually caught not too far from Whitewater, out towards Desert Hot Springs.
