last night after reading your post about my snake i went to do some checking and to move the temp up...... heres what i found, the heat mat was not working, not sure of how long it had not been working but it wasnt, i corrected this last night after figuring out what was wrong. so far he seems to be doing ok, i noticed today after returning from work he is back to normal size the mouse i guess was taking to long due to insufficent heat. thank you for making me think, it made me go check my tank all over again, and found the mat not working, luckily i have extras....... if i see them on sale i buy them, which worked out for me .
