I live in Nj.My permit is on it's way in the mail. i called fish and wildlife and this is what i had to do.
1. get a recipt from a out of state pet store for your turtle.
2. print "non-game wildlife permit" off of website.
3. send $10, permit application, and pet store recipt to fish and game.
You can sell turtles with this permit. Only yo out of state customers. Not for profit. you have to figure a price from cost of raising turtles. it is known as a "hobby permit" . For $100 you can get a permit that allows you to sell for profit.
