I just wanted to put a fresh pic of the girls up after seeing all the amazing pics recently posted. She's a Tri-Color Hypo Honduran with the narrow "pinbanded" stripes that are actually partially vanishing.
Next to her is a normal honduran (although het for hypo) to show the actual contrast. You just can't photograph a hypo and get the true colors to show. I find that a normal thrown in will give you the general idea, as evidenced by the pics.
It's hard to believe how clean she is untill you see her next to the normal! Even the red is reduced. As a hatchling her dark stripes were actually purple and not grey, but they are fading to a nice dull grey now that she is growing (darnit).
Anyhow, I just wanted to show her off, she's my pride and joy, even more so than the tangerine albinos I have.
