mexican black. king questions....

inthedeep2 Aug 13, 2005 09:21 PM

i have a quick question for you all.
my mexican black king has recently been rubbing his nose alot on the glass as if hes wanting to get out. i know this can eventually get bad and give him a sore, is there something i can to to help prevent this?? cover the sides all but the front. or what..
open to any suggestions.

Tell us how warm you're keeping it and also make sure it has places to hide in its cage. Tell us a bit about your set up

In addition to the questions Tom asked, what are you feeding the snake and how often? My MBKs usually aren't active unless they're hungry.

thank you all
he is in a 30gal reptile tank with 4 hides 2 on the warm side, 86-88 and also 2 on the cooler side which is room temp 76-80.
hes always active doesnt matter if hes eaten or not. i feed him 2 pinks a week sometimes more if i think he is hungry. very aggressive eater. probably eat more if i let him.
the thing i think of is that on both sides of his tank there are objects on the table, one is a big lush plant and the other is our fruit bowl..
thanks again.
