New bees in the hive...

chrisssanjose Aug 14, 2005 12:20 PM

Finally hit the odds this season. 5 eggs from a spider
to a pastel delivered me 1.1 bees! Here they are after their
first shed. Thanks for looking.

...all you have to do is miss your odds on everything
else all season to 'save up your luck'! Worked for me!

Those are some sweet Bees!!! I am being told that in order to produce bees, the spider must be female and the pastel a male is there any truth to this..I would like to purchase a male spider but my friend is talking me out of it, telling me I need a female spider

chrisssanjose Aug 15, 2005 09:51 PM

Any combination of pastel (or superpastel) bred to a spider
has a chance of producing a bee.

Good luck!
Chris
