New Cage / Heating / Lighting

ShadowDruid Aug 14, 2005 01:51 PM

Hey guys and gals,

I'm thinking of getting my leo a new cage. I'm going to get one of those exo-terra ones that has the opening doors at the front with the mest removable screen top. I was wondering if i bought an undertank heater and a flourescent bulb up top would be enough heating / lighting. Or should I buy her a basking light as well ??? Thanks for you're help.

An undertank heater should get the temps up high enough. Before you move your gecko into it use an UTH and test the temps, if they seem a little low add a light until it reaches the ideal temp.
