At $7 it must be a juvenile right?
Well, you got to wait a couple of years at least to find out!
Hehehe
Around 3 feet iguanas show gender differences.
Males grow large jowls, borader heads, pre-anal pores, and a "bulge" where the hemipenes reside.
A vet or someone who has good experience with probing can find out earlier, but extreme care must be taken to avoid injuring the animal internally.
Per-anal pores and a bulge can be visible at a young age, the large jowls later on.
Also, it is possible to sometimes see some evacuation of the hemipenes, or sperm strings left around the enclosure, particularly during breeding season. Around that time, I hear people throw in a plush iguana toy, or a stuffed green sock, and see if the animal will attempt to copulate with it. If so, it's a horny boy!
