Breeding mice and rats.

I am getting a water monitor soon and i want to breed rats and mice for him instead of buying them. Could some one tell me everything i need to know about breeding them. Thanks alot.

The mice would stink horribly bad. That is why I have rabbits.

Ha, how lazy can one be? "could someone tell me everything i need...." I mean no harm,but come on, you can find everything there is to know about easy animals like mice and rats on the internet! greetings, barry

basically, keep fresh bedding in the cage at all times, lots of food, and a water bottle, when me and my buddy were breeding them for his corn snakes, and my monitors, we had 1male to 3 females, and two more females in a seperate cage to take care of the pups when they are born, you cant leave the pups in with the male because they will eat the pups or chew on their heads and what not thats why you transfer them to another cage with all female adults in it, and it doesnt matter if they are there own young or not, any female mouse will take care of a mouse pup,
