Congrats on getting the pic up and thanks! They all look very normal, and very nice to me. I would say you are about to have yourself 7 new baby kingsnakes here real soon!

Now you can post pics of the little ones when the time comes and show 'em off!

There is nothing that I'd like more than show you pics of seven greybands- I'll post pics of adults. I have a speckled alterna female and two blair males...Day 65 and still waiting. Dave.

Day 70 here... candled the egg a few hours ago with tools laid out to slit open a small flap, while candling I was prepared with a fine gel pen to mark between the small blood vessels just under the shell to avoid them while opening the egg. I noticed that those vessels had all pulled away and had moved to one very centralized area so I knew things were alive and happening. Candling further, I noticed healthy movement in the shadowy outline of the baby inside, reacting to the light. Clearly active and normal, so I have left it alone to let nature take it's course. Pretty awesome to see the perfect shadowy outline, head and all moving about, creeping around inside of the egg... sort of like a healthy hatchling shifting around inside a translucent plastic easter egg. Would love to have a video clip of that someday.

Congrats on seeing the movement, I also tried candeling again tonight and while there wasn't any detectable movement, the vessels were still present and what appears to be a long skinny form inside. Haven't thought about breaking in yet! just trying to stay patient...
