Everyone knows that in order to produce a Bumblebee you need a Pastel and a Spider......I have been told that the Spider needs to be a female and the pastel a male....Is there any truth to this?????

No....any pastel to any spider will produce bumblebees...
Thats just what most people do since most people already own a pastel male...so they buy a female spiider to raise up to breed to their pastel.

In theory you should also be able to produce bumblebees from bumblebee X normals (about 25%) or several other crosses like super pastel X spider etc.
Ok, So I breed a Pastel to a Spider, what should I get...I am being told I will get pastels, spiders and bumblebees. Does this sound right!!!
Each egg from pastel X spider would have the following odds:
25% bumblebee
25% spider only
25% pastel only
25% normal
