New Pics of first clutch after shed and feeding

Rick Millspaugh Aug 15, 2005 12:34 AM

My computer has been down for three weeks, it's been killing me. I had to take my wife to Hawaii for her 25th anniversary too, she is a lucky girl! (it's really the other way around). Anyway, Clutch two has hatched now too and all just shed, ran out of memory (camera not me)so I only got these.
By the way, so of the pics you all are posting have been fantastic!

Okay, I hit "post" way before I was ready. The Milksnake phase is the only pic I took from the second clutch (my milksnake females first clutch), out of 13 I think 5 are Milksnake, this is the only orange and there is a female that is a very cool greenish yellow.
The second pic is a female and the third a male. Here are three more (I hope) from the first clutch.

Here are the last three

Rick...
Those are some great looking thayeri there...
I especially like the aberrantly marked orange leonis...Reminds me of that one Jonel Lopez has that he got from Chris Baubel.
Nice, clean oranges, yellows and I love the splitbanded one as well....
You get them all feeding yet?
Good Job Rick!!

Thanks John,
Although I didn't do much, the snakes did it all. I guess I bought them from a good source with good backgrounds.

Yes, that red-orange female is unreal, unless I get stupider than I already am, I plan to keep her. I like the zigzag pattern and I tend to like the reduced black. I am happy with all eight of these. Of course she is not eating yet though (I plan to force all of them to conform to my husbandry and food). Five out of the eight are eating, I haven't resorted to lizard scenting yet either. Or wacking pinks in half.

Of the next 13, I have only tried to feed one and he ate. He was an over achiever, hatched out fifth, but shed two days before the rest and ate that night. He is also my favorite of the clutch, hope to get pics soon.

Here is a pic of the pair that produced the first eight (not new, some have seen it).

As they say down under, "noooice". I hope mine turn out half that nice after they shed. I agree with you those last three are killers especially that yellow leonis. I got a greenie or two too.

Which ones are you holding back?

Like I said in my last post, unless I get stupid (happens alot) I plan to keep the middle female in my last three pics. After that I'm not sure, I like them all but do not have room to keep many. I got some pics of a few from the second clutch I'll post them as soon as I download them all.
