Thanks for the info on the racks. A do have some additional questions. Do you use a thermostat or retrostat for the heat tape? If so, is the sensor touching the heat tape or just above it? Will the particle board withstand the heat produced by the tape? thanks..

I use a Litton dimmer switch w/o any problems, to check the temp. i use the back of my hand on the underside of the tub it should NEVER feel HOT it should only feel warm if it ever feels too warm i back off the dimmer switch to lower the temp.
Particle board is alright with 6watt heat tape, once i did have trouble with 10watt heat tape because i was using a cheap dimmer switch, 10 and 8 watt heat tape is overkill anyway.

I don't remember seeing that beauty you have pictured Jetzen. Is that one a recent addition? Looks to have a blackish body with a bronze color pattern. Very nice.
