...I spec....ya all have seen this one...

Hola...

....Conditions were perfect Sunday.....so a grp of us had to go have a look on a local mtn. Dr Spec would hopefully have his lucky shamrock watching over us...
...the Hubbster wanted to see if desert pyros would be up n about...
I needed to noose a limit of potatoebugs...we also had a pair of texicans the Hubbster had rooted up w/ his potatoerake...
...up the mtn we went...the combo of my AM raquetball fix & mini-keg of Heineken soon left me training behind...
For about 2 hrs we worked it steadily....occasionally the happy grunt of a chuck discovery broke the monotony of shining the deep fissures...
...finally...a fortouitous view was to be seen...the shamrock had worked its magic...

....ah the spec has me singing the blues again...moving in for the macro...

...amazing how well they match the granite & gneiss...

Results: 10 hrs effort/1 spec/4 chucks.

10 hours to find that one spec is WELL WORTH the time....beautiful animal and its always cool to see pics of where you actually found them. Thanks for sharing, Rob
